The partnership aims to raise awareness about the airport's accessibility among students, their families, alumni, university employees, and campus visitors, according to the Tucson Airport Authoritiy.
TUS will have a presence at major university events throughout the academic year, including Welcome Week, Family Weekend, Homecoming, Admitted Student Day and Commencement, while having a visible presence at the Wildcat Welcome Center.
Direct engagement with students and families will occur through on-campus events, student ambassador programs, alumni communications and targeted travel initiatives, officials said.
Travel-focused benefits are part of the agreement to simplify transportation between campus and the airport.
Seasonal promotions and Lyft discount programs will offer added convenience during high-traffic periods like semester transitions, holiday breaks and key university events.
