Pima County Community Job Fair – connect with up to 50 employers
Pima County’s Community & Workforce Development (CWD) Department is holding a Community Job Fair on Oct. 6, offering job seekers the opportunity to connect with up to 50 employers across multiple industries.
The free job fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Kino Event Center, 2805 E. Ajo Way.
No registration is required.
CWD holds these major Community Job Fairs twice a year.
More than 1,100 job seekers attended the spring event.
Job sectors represented include: Construction Manufacturing Healthcare Government Transportation Aviation Food service Education Call centers Warehousing.
“A job fair gives people the chance to make connections with dozens of employers in just a few hours,” said CWD Deputy Director Rhonda Pina.
“We encourage job seekers to come prepared with multiple copies of their resume, speak with employers in different industries and be ready to interview.
We’ve seen employers interview and hire candidates on the spot.”
