PACC needs adopters for young dogs seized in hoarding case
PACC needs adopters for young dogs seized in hoarding case.
Pima Animal Care Center is looking for homes for 26 dogs that were seized during a hoarding case investigation last week.
The dogs are all medium to large mixed breeds and in good health.
Half are under a year old.
The conditions inside the home were poor.
The arrival of these additional dogs comes as PACC prepares for a busy month.
Based on data from previous years, the month of October tends to have higher intake and lower adoptions, resulting in more dogs filling up kennel space.
Every kennel at both the main PACC shelter and EPAC are full, some housing more than one dog.
