A part of Gates Pass Road has reopened following storm damage repairs, according to the Pima County Department of Transportation.

A part of Gates Pass Road has reopened following storm damage repairs, according to the Pima County Department of Transportation.

The roadway between Kinney Road and Via Scaramuzzo is now accessible to drivers after crews fixed sections damaged by recent storms.

However, additional construction work is scheduled for the coming days, the department said.

Flaggers will be stationed at the site to manage traffic flow through the work zone.

One lane will stay open while workers use the other lane as their active construction area.

The department said turn movements may be limited within the project area due to space constraints.
