A part of Gates Pass Road has reopened following storm damage repairs, according to the Pima County Department of Transportation.
The roadway between Kinney Road and Via Scaramuzzo is now accessible to drivers after crews fixed sections damaged by recent storms.
However, additional construction work is scheduled for the coming days, the department said.

2, crews will install ford walls along Gates Pass Road.
The work will take place about a half mile east of Kinney Road between 6 a.m.
each day, officials said.
Southern Arizona Paving will handle the construction project.
Flaggers will be stationed at the site to manage traffic flow through the work zone.
One lane will stay open while workers use the other lane as their active construction area.
The department said turn movements may be limited within the project area due to space constraints.
