“This has completely turned his life upside down,” the attorney said in a statement. “He was publicly named, detained, and treated as a suspect, and now he’s left to pick up the pieces.”
The attorney’s comments come as the investigation into Guthrie’s disappearance continues. Guthrie, a resident of the area, was reported missing under circumstances that have not been fully disclosed.
